No — the main agent runs on minicrew's managed model with tokens included in your plan. Some advanced tools (like code execution and Browserbase browsing) require you to bring your own key for that specific tool.

Think of tokens as the fuel your agents use to read and write. Every message an agent reads or sends burns a little fuel — very roughly a few tokens per word. Your plan comes with a monthly tank of tokens, and heavier use (longer conversations, more agents, bigger documents) uses more. You never touch tokens directly — we just meter them so you only pay for the work your agents actually do.

Tokens are the standard unit of LLM usage — roughly 1 token per ~4 characters of input or output. Every plan includes a monthly token allowance. We count both prompt and completion tokens across all agent activity.

Your agents pause until the next billing cycle, or you can buy a top-up token pack instantly. Token packs never expire and stack on top of your monthly allowance.

Monthly plan tokens reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Top-up token packs you purchase are non-expiring and carry forward indefinitely.
